Too organised, too well coached, and too talented, they ought to have too much for the African nation who can be explosive in bursts but lack cohesiveness.
ARGENTINA (4/7) to beat Mexico – Saturday 26th November 7pm
Provided all goes to plan in their opener against Saudi Arabia, Argentina should be on the cusp of wrapping up the group by the time their second game against Mexico comes around, and they can be backed to get the job done. Mexico have a habit of going well at major tournaments, and are good in possession, without really turning that possession into goals. With many players in key positions now the wrong side of 30, they will be doing well to keep Messi, Martinez and co quiet for the duration of this.
