Who are Betway?

Betway are a global online sportsbook brand that launched in 2006 and have since grown into one of the most recognisable names in sports betting.

While they operate in markets across the world, their UK product is particularly well developed, backed by a UK Gambling Commission licence and years of investment in their platform.

In the UK, Betway have built a reputation for competitive odds, a clean and easy-to-use interface, and strong coverage across a wide range of sports. They are also well known for their sports sponsorships, most notably in football and esports.

Are Betway's Odds Any Good?

Odds are one of Betway's genuine strengths. They are particularly competitive when it comes to football and horse racing, where they stand up against anyone else on the market.

That test is the norm for Betway, not an outlier, they are very strong with odds when compared to others.

Betway offer a strong bet £10 get £40 in free bets offer for their new customers. This is a great way to get started with the brand, paying for one bet of £10, and getting a further four £10 bet tokens to spend.

Football Betting

Football is where Betway are at their strongest, and the depth of coverage reflects that.

From the Premier League down through the Football League and into European competition, Betway covers a huge number of leagues and competitions worldwide, meaning you are unlikely to find a major match missing from their sportsbook.

For Premier League games, the market depth is impressive. As well as the usual 1X2, both teams to score, and correct score markets, you can expect a strong range of player-specific markets covering goalscorers, shots, cards, and more.

Another strong aspect of the Betway service is their horse racing coverage.

Beyond football and racing, Betway covers a wide range of sports with genuine depth. Tennis betting is a particular highlight, Betway offers excellent coverage of ATP, WTA, and Grand Slam events, with a strong range of match and set betting markets.

They also go in-play, to keep pace with the fast-moving nature of the sport. The live tennis betting experience here is one of the better ones available from a UK bookmaker.

Cricket betting is also well catered for, with Test matches, ODIs, and the biggest T20 competitions all covered, including markets on individual innings, player performance, and outright tournament winners.

There’s plenty more too, this is a genuinely capable all-round sportsbook, not one that is strong in one or two areas and thin everywhere else.
