How Does VAR Payout Work?
VAR Payout is available for pre-match bets placed on the English Premier League and applies to the following markets.
- First Goalscorer
- Anytime Goalscorer
- Player to score at least 2, 3, or 4 goals
- To Score or Assist
Simply place a single, multiple, or Bet Builder containing a goalscorer selection. If your player scores but it’s chalked off by VAR for a dubious offside, tweak of the shirt, questionable handball, etc., your bet will still be settled as a winner.
In the case of a single bet, you will be paid out as normal, with the funds hitting your account within 12-24 hours of the game concluding. For multiples and Bet Builders, your goalscorer selection will be marked as a winner, and the remaining selections allowed to run their course.
It is also worth noting that VAR Payout does not override the official first goalscorer in a game. Say, for example, you place two £10 bets on the Liverpool game – one for Salah to score first and another for Isak to score first. If Salah scores first but has his goal disallowed by VAR, you will be paid as a winner on that bet. If Isak then scores the official first goal of the game, you will also be paid out as a winner on that bet.
