Who are IvyBet?
Ivy Bet is the third sportsbook brand from Manchester based operator Betable Limited, who also run RightBet and Bet442.
Betable Limited hold a clean compliance record with the UK Gambling Commission (licence number 23328) and have demonstrated they know how to build and run a reliable betting platform.
Ivy Bet brings a fresh identity to that foundation, with a well designed product, an impressive football offering, and some standout features including a combo selector tool and the Ivy edit sports blog.
Are IvyBet's odds any good?
IvyBet's odds are fair across most sports, though the margins on football sit slightly above those of the largest bookmakers.
Our regular Premier League odds test found this to be the case. We checked the next round of fixtures, 10 games and 30 potential outcomes on the 1X2 market.
IvyBet were middle of the road for 18 of the 30 outcomes, close to the best odds on offer for four and below average for the other eight.
Generally, expect middle of the road odds here, with few occasions showing anything better.
Away from football, the picture is a little more positive. Tests on both boxing and the NFL betting produced better results, with a few more outcomes seeing better than average odds.
Whatever sport you’re betting on, you won’t find yourself at the bottom of the market here. But if you’re the kind of punter who shops around and compares odds for every bet you place, there’s likely to be better out there.

The IvyBet welcome offer certainly gives good value, as the free bets you receive are worth double what you’re qualifying stake is. This offer is bet £20 and get £40 in free bets.
To qualify, place a £20 bet as your first wager, at odds of 1/1 (2.00) or greater. An important note here is that bet builders do not count as a qualifying wager, so don’t place one of those just yet.
However, the reward is all about bet builders. When your qualifying bet has been settled, your account will be credited with 4 x £10 free bets, all to be used on build a bet markets, which is what bet builders are called here.
Those bets must have a minimum of four legs, and total odds of 3/1 (4.00) or greater. Finally, these free bets are valid for seven days after being credited to your account.
Football Betting
Football is clearly where IvyBet have invested the most, and their product shows it.
Coverage spans leagues and competitions from over 90 nations, from the Premier League and Champions League down through the pyramid and across to competitions you would struggle to find at some other sites.
This depth to their football coverage is what you’d expect to see at a big, established name, IvyBet are offering it while still being relatively new and upcoming.
For Premier League fixtures, every game we saw offered a minimum of 276 markets, taking in the obvious collection plus a wide range of player based bets, and a host of specials.
For accas, the combo selector is a nice touch to save time, it picks out accumulators based on your chosen parameters, cutting down the time spent searching for selections.
The Weekend Combo Club is another positive, rewarding customers who place a £20 acca bet at odds of 3.0 or higher between Saturday and Sunday midnight with a £5 free bet.
This is repeatable every week, worth up to £260 in free bets across a full year.
They also offer both acca boosts and acca insurance on selected bets too, so if you’re an acca player, the offers to go alongside your bets are as good here as anywhere else on the market.
Horse Racing Betting
Horse racing is available with IvyBet, though when you go inside the horse racing section, it feels like an added extra, rather than something they’ve invested in.
For example, the day’s racing is listed by track, but these are called ‘leagues’ rather than tracks. However, I’ll give them credit for their international coverage, which is strong and sits nicely at the side of their UK and Irish offering.
In terms of offers for racing fans, the only one here is that they offer extra places across a number of races each day for each way punters.
This is always a strong offer, and could be the difference between a winner and loser for those who take advantage.
You will find antepost betting under the ‘future races’ tab, though when we checked, this was very limited with a lot less on offer than other bookmakers.
Sports Betting
Away from football and racing, IvyBet's menu covers around 30 sports, with the mainstream options on offer.
Tennis, cricket, and golf betting are all covered in depth. For golf fans in particular, the combination of good outright markets and in play betting makes Ivy Bet a positive choice.
Cricket betting covers the international calendar including Test matches and the major T20 tournaments, which is well suited to a UK audience.
The US sports offering is also worth a mention. Basketball betting, American football, ice hockey, and baseball are all available, giving Ivy Bet a stronger foothold in this area than some others, who put their main efforts into UK sports.
For NFL fans especially, we found plenty on offer and a wide range of player betting markets, for those who don’t want to be on who will win the game.
