Wes Brown Talks Man Utd and Transfers
Former Manchester United defender Wes Brown has told NewBettingOffers.co.uk that he believes the key to Marcus Rashford recovering his form from a few years ago is to get more game time, whether than be at United or at another club next season.
Speaking to NewBettingOffers.co.uk, Brown said: “I don’t know whether Marcus Rashford would make a move back to the Premier League if he were to leave Manchester United next season. If he performs well, then I’m sure he’d make his way back in.
“I think we’ve seen worse things happen in football than Rashford’s relationship with United and his conflict with the managers.
“I do think that commitment and talent and the way you play in games should always come first in the focus of any club that is looking to buy a player. For Rashford, I just think he needs to get more playing time, wherever that may be.
“No one knows yet where he’ll end up but I just know he needs to play more games and build that confidence back up to become the player he used to be again.”

Brown also discussed United’s current transfer situation, shedding light on what he thinks his former club will do regarding new players coming into the club as well as their outgoings. Brown reckons head coach Ruben Amorim will opt for a more youthful approach when rebuilding his squad with hopes to get the Red Devils back on track.
“I don’t think Christopher Nkunku and Ben Chillwell are necessarily the calibre of player that Manchester United should be looking to sign,” said Brown. They’ve both had plenty of chances to show what it is they are capable of but if you’re not playing really well, it’s hard to shine at a team like Chelsea who have so many players in their squad.
“United should be looking for younger players that are up-and-coming that have been performing well for a season or two. I can’t see United going for any older players, I doubt they’ll go down that route. The manager will have a big say in it, but that said, I don’t even think United will have the funds to do it in January. For players to come in, players will need to leave, too.
“There are also those players where the manager has been looking at them and can recognise that they’d suit the system and the style of football that they play, and I’m sure Ruben Amorim falls into that category.
“At the end of the day, no one knows what Amorim’s going to do so we’ll just have to wait and see who they end up going for. It can be a gamble, signing those young players with unknown potential, sometimes it really pays off, and sometimes it doesn’t. It’s a tough situation at the moment with transfers.”
