For many punters, the first port of call when assessing a new betting site is to examine the competitiveness of the odds on offer.
We first took a look at the prices available for one of the most popular betting options – the English Premier League. When comparing the odds for the latest slate of weekend fixtures, we found Lottoland to be very competitive. Whilst the site did not offer a standout best price on any of the games, the margins were perfectly fair, and in many cases, the odds available were only a tiny fraction below the best market price.
A similar pattern emerged when running the rule over the long-term football market of the World Cup 2022 winner. The prices available for all sides fell towards the higher end of the market average, and, in most cases, only one or two rival firms offered a better price.
It wasn’t only the football which performed well. The odds available for Tennis, NFL, Golf, and more were in line with the top end of the market, representing solid value to the customer.

Regular Offers
Whilst not overly strong in the area of regular offers, Lottoland does provide a little extra value to the customer via its Price Boosts promotion. Available for many of the major football matches and other sporting events, the site will select one of the most popular betting options and boost the price by around 20%. All current price boosts can be found in the “Price Boosts” tab towards the bottom of the sports menu on the left of the screen.
Markets & Features
Lottoland provides odds on a total of 34 separate sports and events – a pretty impressive tally for a new betting site.
Popular sports including Football, Golf, Tennis, and Cricket are all included, but so too are more obscure pursuits such as Alpine Skiing, Futsal and Floorball. Modern bettors will likely be delighted with the extensive esports section, featuring 12 separate games. And unsurprisingly, given the name of the site, punters are also able to place bets on the Irish, Austrian, German and Euro lotteries. There is however one major omission, as the site does not currently provide odds for horseracing.
Football betting fans will certainly find plenty to like here. The excellent “Bet-Builder” feature in particular catches the eye, demonstrating that the site has its finger on the pulse when it comes to current betting trends.
Those who enjoy live betting are well catered for by the site’s excellent in-play section, which features 12 individual sports, including esports. Featuring odds which are quick to update, handy infographics, and live streaming on certain events, this area of the site compares favourably with much of the competition.

Summary
Already a hugely popular site for fans of lotteries and games, Lottoland’s sports betting arm is well up to scratch. The sign-up offer may not particularly stand out from the crowd, but is a solid enough promotion. Elsewhere, the great value odds, in-play betting, and esports sections are well above average.
The addition of horseracing and a few more regular promotions would be welcomed, but these may come in time. Overall, a site well worth a look for sports fans, and if you also happen to enjoy betting on lottery-style products, this may well be the site for you.
