Having taken a deep dive into FanTeam’s sports betting platform, we can confirm that their odds are, for some sports and markets, very competitive.

We assessed their pricing for a number of Premier League games, finding them to be just shy of offering best odds on a consistent basis across match result, both teams to score and over/under goals markets.

I also took the time to compare their prices for the key outright events in tennis (Wimbledon winner etc) and golf, specifically the Open Championship.

What I found echoed our findings in the football match markets: you won’t be far away from getting the best price with FanTeam when compared to mainstream betting sites, but they are unable to compete with the low margins of some of the ‘softer’ sportsbooks currently available to UK punters.

We also analysed the value being added (or not) by their Golden Boost promotion. While some of the selections are a bit left-field, occasionally the boosted prices – such as Harry Kane to score anytime – are worthwhile for punters to explore.

There is lots to admire about FanTeam, but we really do wish they had more promotions and regular offers to explore.

Instead, aside from the welcome bonus, the only promotion available at the sportsbook is their Golden Boosts.

These are enhanced odds offers for the day’s key sporting events, which can add value to your betting – if these are selections you were considering taking anyway.

In our testing, we saw some picks boosted from 5/2 to 7/2, which is a considerable upgrade in price.

Betting Markets & Features

More than 100 individual markets are available for the standard Premier League game, covering the vast majority of the most popular options.

A Bet Builder tool is provided as well, although a lack of player prop lines – shots, tackles, fouls, cards etc – confirms that FanTeam doesn’t quite have the attention to detail of some of their industry peers.

FanTeam provides odds for a comprehensive A-Z of sports, with even niche options like water polo and padel catered for. However, and this is something that cannot be overlooked, they don’t currently cover UK and Irish horse racing.

We hope they change that stance in the near future, as its one of the factors stopping FanTeam from entering the top echelon of UK betting sites.

Live betting is available and I was pleased to see that some live streaming is offered, although this is limited to niche sports, esports and football leagues in Asia and Africa.

To counterbalance this praise, readers should know that – at the time of writing – there’s no cash out option available.

I have to say, I found the addition of daily fantasy gaming – which I could play using the same account balance as my sports bets – really interesting.
