Euro 2020 Home Nations Treble
The Euros are underway, and the home nations are all in action over the course of the next 3 days. First up we have Wales on Saturday afternoon, followed by England on Sunday and lastly Scotland on Monday.
Here we take a look at all three games and pick out our home nations weekend treble to follow.
Wales v Switzerland
Wales reached the semi finals of Euro 2016, but this time around we are expecting them to face a much tougher challenge. Their overall squad looks weaker, and Gareth Bale is a shadow of his former self, and unlikely to inspire and lead the team like he did in France five years ago.
Switzerland are not really potential winners, but certainly capable of reaching the next round and should have too much for the Welsh in this one.
Expect the Swis to come out and dominate early, getting on the ball and forcing the play while Wales drop deeper to try and soak up the pressure. We think we will see an early Switzerland goal, and complete control of the game for them from there.

England v Croatia
A first game of the tournament for England, generally second favourites with the bookmakers to lift the trophy this summer. We usually see England starting slowly in tournaments, and given their toughest group match comes first, that is obviously a worry for fans.
However, even if they do start a little slower than we would like, they should still have enough to beat Croatia on home soil. We’ve seen them scrape through 1-0 in two friendlies so far, expect the same again on Sunday.
With that in mind, we don’t think England will be too convincing, but we do think they will do enough to get their first win on the board.
England to win to nil at 6/4 with bet365 is our bet on this one.
Scotland v Czech Republic
The final game for our treble features Scotland and the Czech Republic, a game that could well be the lowest quality game of the three we are looking at. We also don’t think there will be too many goals.
The Czech Republic are not the same force of old, and with Scotland set to play a defensive style, they may struggle to break the home side down. Both teams know that if they want to qualify as one of the best third placed teams, winning this will be vital.
That will lead to a slow start, caution from both teams and with that in mind, we think the first half of the game will happen without incident.
A 0-0 correct score at 5/4 with bet365 at half time is our selection for this game.
