To assess the quality of the odds on offer, we analysed the biggest and best sporting events. First up, the biggest of them all – the English Premier League. When looking at the latest slate of fixtures, BetWright didn’t stand out as offering many outright best prices. However, they were only a whisker under the best market price in several instances, and an average overround of around 6 – 6.5% is fair. BetWright fared better in the outright winner market, offering the outright best price or joint best price for two of the top six sides in the betting.
The horse racing odds were more impressive. Looking at the ante-post markets ahead of the York Ebor Festival, BetWright offered the joint best market price for three of the top five in the Nunthorpe Stakes, and three of the top six in the market for the Ebor Handicap.
Finally, we put the golf odds under the microscope and were impressed with our findings. BetWright offered the joint best market price or outright best price on a significant percentage of the field, including a selection of the more fancied players.
