Sporting Index launched back in 1992 in the UK and are best known for offering spread betting on various sporting events. This type of betting is different to traditional forms, but gave them a platform on which they could showcase their ability to put a service together.

Sporting Index offer competitive odds on their fixed odds betting markets, although it has to be said here that across a large number of football games that we tested, they never came out on top.
At times they were close, but in the main they generally offered slightly better odds than average on the favourites to win a game. There are certainly better deals out there, but Sporting Index do deserve a little credit for their consistency.
