Markets & Features
Whilst best known as a sports betting operator, Matchbook also offers Casino, Live Casino, and Virtuals – all of which are easy to access via tabs at the head of the home screen. The Casino products operate as expected. However, for those unaccustomed to the betting exchange model, the sports betting area may take a little getting used to.
For the uninitiated, a betting exchange uses a peer-to-peer system. When placing a bet, a fellow punter lays your bet rather than the bookmaker. The exchange then takes a profit through a small commission applied to winning bets. Moving on to the sporting menu, Matchbook offers markets on 19 individual sports and events. That’s a little less than the more all-encompassing traditional sportsbooks but still more than enough to meet the needs of most players. Turning to an individual event, Matchbook provides a solid array of options.
